For the fifth year in a row, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and
Dick Clark Productions launched a full-scale deployment of EventCredentials suite
of software solutions for the Golden Globe Awards. Complete Online Event Registration,
Secure (RFID computer chip embedded) Photographic Credentials, Graphical Interface
Seating Chart software, Secure (RFID computer chip embedded) Ticketing Solution
in conjunction with the Company’s Electronic Perimeter/Infrastructure Access Control
Monitoring system. Handheld devices were used to monitor and enforce the RFID embedded
technology used throughout the event.
The HFPA and Dick Clark Productions were interested in streamlining their credentialing,
ticketing and seating assignment process without compromising their security requirements.
EventCredentials’ proprietary solutions streamlined these labor-intensive processes,
while furthering the high level of integrity these events demands.
In the two months leading up to the event, representatives of the media, publicity
firms, talent agencies, network, production staff and other miscellaneous vendors
all submitted applications online requesting access rights to the event. After event
coordinators reviewed applications via the Company’s web interface and granted or
denied access levels, the approved individuals, which numbered over 5,000 (including
1,300 journalist from 130 countries and 60 TV crews) were credentialed over a one-week
period leading up to the event at the EventCredentials onsite credentialing facility.
Through the use of EventCredentials' user-friendly graphical seating chart/ticketing
software, event coordinators easily recorded guest information and simplified the
daunting task of seating over 1,300 attendees. Error free updates and last minute
seating positions were keystrokes away and made possible by the turnkey electronic
software solution. In addition, the event coordinators used EventCredential's secure
ticketing solution to issue (RFID computer chip embedded) personalized tickets to
attendees, which were scanned at various security checkpoints, including the entrance
to the Ballroom.

The Clinton Global Initiative Foundation and Publicis Events
implemented EventCredentials’ software solution and turnkey services to effectively
register and credential over 3,000 participants, speakers and guests, 8 heads of
State and accompanying staff, representatives of the media and conference staff
and production crew. Photographic RFID credentials where issued onsite to each attendee
and used to verify granted access to event venue (perimeter control) as well as
exclusive workshop sessions within the venue (internal control).
In conjunction with
the United States Secret Service and T&M Protection Services, the William Jefferson
Clinton Foundation implemented EventCredentials’ proprietary RFID credentialing
solution to strengthen their perimeter control electronically while increasing the
efficiency by which access was granted and monitored internally throughout the venue.
EventCredentials’ proprietary solution made it possible for event staff to electronically
assign each attendee a unique access record, which included entrance rights to multiple
workshop sessions throughout the 3-day event.
The proprietary solution provided event staff with access to information
on, and control of, which attendees were being assigned access to each workshop.
In addition, event staff was able to view in real-time information on remaining
capacity for each workshop and thereby ensuring that each session remained workable
even when faced with space limitations.

For the tweleveth year in a row, The Screen Actors Guild Awards
and Jeff Margolis Productions used EventCredentials Event Management Software Solution
and Services to effectively register online, credential and position over 800 media
representatives in attendance for both the Red Carpet Arrivals as well as inside
the three story backstage Media Facility. Production took full advantage of EventCredentials
solution and services to register and credential over 2,500 members of the Crew,
Fans placed in the Arrivals Bleacher Section, Seat-fillers, Caterers and miscellaneous
vendors for both the Award Show and the After Party sponsored by People Magazine
and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF).
